Seven Mountains of Influence (Business)

Seven Mountains of Influence

Business

Text: Titus 3:14
Background - Paul realized that operating in the business mountain while seeking to establish the kingdom of God in a region went hand in hand.

This is why he spoke of this endeavor producing fruitfulness for the kingdom purpose.

He also said it would meet the urgent needs of the ministry and of their own lives.

Paul saw the involvement of his team in the business mountain as a strategic part of establishing kingdom rule in a region.

I Thessalonians 4:11-12

Those who were a part of the business mountain while expanding the kingdom of God were to lead a quiet life, have their mind occupied with their own pursuits, walk in a righteous way toward those who were not believers, and have every need met and lack nothing. Not living above means.

It is obvious that activity in the business mountain was a way of life for Paul and his ministry team.

Paul was a tent maker who worked with his own hands so that he would not be a burden to budding churches and could dispel every accusation that he was in it for the money.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-9

One is not spiritual and the other secular. Both are about service to God.

Not every person in the religion mountain will be anointed to function in the business mountain also.

Everything is spiritual and should be approached as such.

Luke 8:1-3

Purpose of this mountain:

- found the kingdom.

Luke 4:18

1 Timothy 6:9-10

Many of the founding fathers of America were wealthy people before the revolution began.

They were so committed to the cause of the revolution that they spent all their wealth to finance the armies and the endeavors of establishing a new nation.

There were many of these brave and heroic people who, though they had great wealth at one time, died penniless as a result of their commitment to the revolution.

Matthew 25:20-21 - what has God made you a steward over?

Proverbs 10:22 - its the Lord who makes a person rich.  He added no sorrow to it.  When He makes them rich it doesn’t carry a heavy burden with it.

Leviticus 25:13- 17 - Year of Jubilee - everything returned to its original owner.

1 Timothy 6:17-19
