Remnant Generation Youth Ministry
Remnant Generation is our Youth Ministry here at Restoration Church that meets every Wednesday at 7pm and covers grades 6th-12th. Remnant sparked because we believe that it is our mission to make sure the youth of this generation develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and will be the remnant that stands in a lost and dying world. Our desire is not for them to practice religion, but instead to have a relationship. Not only with Jesus, but relationships with fellow believers. They will be the church of tomorrow! They will be discipled on how to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and equipped to handle everything this world throws at them.
All students are welcome at Remnant Generation, no matter where they come from or what they have been through. We ask every parent to pray about their child’s involvement because it is ultimately the parents that are the true leaders of their children. We discuss real life situations that are common for teenagers in society. Some students might be more sheltered than others and we will always notify parents if we plan to speak on more sensitive subjects.
While our goal is to prepare a remnant to go against the enemy’s attacks, we are also firm believers in food, fun, and fellowship. Church is meant to be a safe space that everyone feels comfortable in and can have fun with their friends. We regularly plan fun activities for the youth to participate in and will always help them raise funds if our activities cost money. Remnant Generation is a family and we want that family to continue to grow, being the “iron that sharpens each others iron.” Please feel free to reach out to Pastor Elisha with any additional questions.
