Stretch Out Your Hand

Text: MARK 3:1-6
STRETCH OUT YOUR HAND 
We say we want revival and for God to move and all the Pentecostal things but are we willing to do what it takes for him to move 
God is restoring back to man what was lost. 
The religious people were mad that a man that was sick was healed. 
Religious people can get along better with bound people than they can with free people. 
Jesus cast the devil out of the man living in the grave yard. 
They got mad and told Jesus he had to leave. 
They get mad when other people get free. 
When you get serious about Jesus putting your life back together there will be people that like the bound you better than the free you and they will come after you. 
They went after Lazarus. They were already plotting to kill Jesus but it wouldn’t do any good to kill the miracle worker and the miracle still be walking around. 
They like the broken you better because they could intimidate the broken you better than the delivered you. 
We measure our freedom by other people. 
I may not be free but I am not as bad as them. 
Jesus calls him out. 
They were ok with my disfunction. People like you when you are behind them or under them. 
People want you to get up and talk about how unworthy you are better than they like you to get up and talk about how you are anointed to get up and preach. They call you arrogant. 
Don’t just read what has been expressed. See what is implied. 
Right hand was wither. Right handed people - their strength. 
This was his strength and he was broken in the thing that was suppose to be his great strength. 
When those things that everyone looks at about us are broken we want to hide it or ignore it because it is embarrassing. 
You have several areas of your life that are doing well, but if that one area that you are suppose to be strongest is failing, you fell like you are failing at everything. 
When one of my kids would get hurt and they would come to me to look at it. 
They will always scream, “dont touch it.” 
I have to touch it in order to help it. 
We have areas that God is wanting to touch but we have to let Him touch it. It may burn a little but it will make it better. 
Taking the band aid off my arm so it could heal. It has to be exposed in order to heal.
I wanted to keep it on there to protect it, but what I thought was protecting it was actually stopping it from healing. 
A dog hit by a car fighting you when you are trying to help it. 
You expose it. It is not His heart to hurt you more, but there may be pain in the healing. 
It will never heal as long as it is covered up. 
Jesus will find that one area. He wants all of you healed. 
Law of Restoration - had to give back five fold. 
God never puts a principle on people that He isn’t willing to live out Himself. 
We don’t restore what was lost, we have to restore back more than was lost. 
God wants to restore back to you what the devil took away five hold. Even if you gave it away God wants to restore it. 
Psalms 69:4 says, “I will restore that which I didn’t even take from you.” 
There is a comfort in low expectations. 
If you think you were something before you got bound by that thing wait until you see what God restores back to you. 
The greatest enemy to you walking in total freedom is partial freedom. 
I am not where I want to be, but thank God I am not where I use to be. 
I am not free yet, but thank God I am not as bound as I use to be. 
NO! God wants His children to walk in total freedom. 
I do not want to fall short of anything that God has called me to do. 
If I do great things for the kingdom, but miss the fullness of what He has called me to do I have failed Him. 
I can’t fix my weakness, but all I have to do is stretch it out and let Him touch it. 
He is still in the healing business. 
He is still in the restoration business.
